New images and specs of the previously rumored HTC Ruby (codename) have leaked online today thanks to Droid Sans who received photos of the smartphone from a tipster.
Htc got huge success and made buckets of money by manufacturing range ofAndroid phones last year. If you are planning to purchase high-end Android Smartphones, then you have to wait for another month because the upcoming high-powered Smartphone, HTC Amaze 4G will be launched on 26th October 2011. The specifications and images of HTC Amaze have been surfaced around the web that shows it will come with 4.3? qHD 540 x 960 resolution display and 1.2GHz-1.5GHz dual-core processor.
HTC Amaze, also known as HTC Ruby will be one of two new flagship phones started to T-Mobile. It will come with 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage that can go larger with an expandable 32GB MicroSD slot. It will run on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread, and the HTC Sense 3.5. It will come with 8MP rear facing camera with dual LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera for video chat. Below the screen, it has four capacitive keypads.
Specs had previously been leaked regarding a new phone called the HTC Ruby which match the specs of the phone in these new photos. There is a match on the 4.3-inch, 960 x 540 qHD display, an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It also features 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage and will be running on Android 2.3 with Sense 3.5.
The photos don’t show any signs of Sense 3.5 which suggests this is only a prototype. T-Mobile devices only adopt some of the Sense UI features to it is expected it will be included in the final version of the phone.
The rumor mill has also been buzzing with talk that this latest phone will be called the HTC Amaze when it is released by T-Mobile and it’s going to be a real powerhouse of a phone. Reports suggest the device will be capable of DC-HSPA+ speeds in Thailand were it is being tested, which in theory means speeds of 42Mbps data transfer will be possible.
