New entry level business notebook has been launched by Dell, dubbed as Dell Vostro 1540. Designed with a top-class quality finish with anti-fingerprint cover and roomy chicklet keyboard for comfortable typing, the Vostro 1540 laptop is available now for pre order with starting price at $399 for basic configurations.
New Dell Vostro 1540 comes with several configuration, such as a 2.0GHz Intel Celeron P4600, 2.4GHz Intel Core i3-370M Processor, a Intel Core i5 480M processor, 2GB/4GB/8GB DDR3 RAM, a 250GB/320GB/500GB/640GB SATA Hard Drive for storage and Windows 7 Professional or runs on Ubuntu Edition Version 10.10 for operating system. Dell 1540 notebook is packs with a 15.6 inch High Definition LED Display (1366 x 768) with anti-glare and offer a maximum rate of 225 cd/m2.
If the display is not to big, you can also connect to bigger display via HDMI port. Other specification includes a Intel Mobile HM 57 Express chipset, three USB port, VGA port, 4 in 1 Card Reader and 6 cell Lithium-Ion battery.
