Motorola just release a low version of the Xoom tablet, calledMotorola Xoom Family Edition tablet. The Xoom Family tablet will be sell $120 less than the most affordable regular Xoom tablet, but pre loaded with more than $40 worth of free apps, such as Kid Mode by Zoodles, SIM City Deluxe, Quickoffice Pro HD for email access and document editing capabilities,  Asphalt 6 and many more.

Basically, the Motorola Xoom Family Tablet is almost identical with the previous version, but it’s have a smaller storage with built in 16 GB for internal storage with supports up to 32 GB microSD card to extend storage. Under the hood, Motorola Xoom Family Edition will be powered by 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 1 gigabytes of Ram memory, a 5MP autofocus camera with LED Flash that is capable of recording 720p video, a 1.3 MP front facing camera with built-in microphone to make video chats, accelerometer and sporting a a 10.1 inch HS IPS HD screen display with resolutions of 1280x 800 pixels, capacitive multi-touch support, Ambient light sensor and capable to play 720p video playback and virtual keyboard in portrait and landscape mode.
For connectivity, the device will be equipped with bluetooth 2.1+EDR+HID, Micro USB 2.0 port, HDMI out to connect with external monitor and 802.11 b/g/n with support Adobe Flash Player for Web surfing. Physically the 10.1 inch tablet comes with anodized aluminum cassing with soft touch and measures 260 x 177 x 11.4 mm (H X W X D) with weight 650 grams. The new Family Edition tablet from Motorola running on Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) for operating system with support 5 fully customizable home screens and have a battery which offer lasts up to 10 hours for video playback and Web browsing or up to approx. 14 days for standby time.
