Pentax has announced their latest compact camera called Optio VS20has long super zoom of 20x, dual shutter buttons designed for easy to take photos either camera holding horizontally or vertically; one side with standard zoom control and shutter button and other side with secondary shutter release button and zoom control, Triple Shake Reduction for sharp and blur free images, Auto Face Recognition to focus your family and friends, Night Snap mode capture beautiful photos with minimal blur and noise even in low light settings and Auto Picture automatically select best scene mode.

The Optio VS20 has 16-mega pixels CCD image sensor, 20x optical zoom with 28-560mm wide angle lens, 3-inch LCD, 720p HD video recording at 30fps, 16MB built-in storage with SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card, Digital Image Stabilization and 100-6400 ISO Sensitivity.

The Pentax VS20 has 13 Scene Modes, Triple Shake Reduction, Auto Picture, Night Snap Mode, Auto Face Recognition, Smile and Blink Detection, Speaker and Microphone, EyeFi, USB 2.0, Dimension 111 x 61 x 38 mm, Weight 235 grams with battery and Lithium Ion D-LI122 battery to take 200 shots at single charge.

The Pentax Optio VS20 will be available from February 2012 in Noble Black and Brilliant White color options and price is $249.95.
