A Romania mobile device maker, Evolio has introduced a new ultra notebook, called Evolio U9. The company claims if the Evolio U9 is the world’s lightest notebook on the market at this moment. Physically, the machines measures a 18mm thin chassis (about 0.7 inches) and weighing just at 2.16 pound.

Under the hood, the thin and light U9 netbook based on Intel’s Cedar Trail platform and powered by 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Atom N2600 cedar view processor paired with 2GB of system memory and an internal battery pack that provide up to 5 hours of battery life. For storage, the machines comes with a choice of from a 64 GB or 128 GB solid state disk (SSD) and sporting an 11.6 inch HD display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and support HDMI output to connect with external monitor.
Other features includes built in 1.3 mega pixel web camera to make video callings, USB connectivity, Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi to connect internet. To enhanced your mobile experience, Evolio U9 netbook also pre loaded with PowerVR core to graphics acceleration and support multimedia files, includes BlueRay, MPEG2, MPEG4, WMV9, H.264.
